Eligibility for Admission in 4 Years B.Tech/Degree Programme

 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

  • If you want to take admission in 4 years B.Tech/Degree programme, you must have some minimum educational qualification that has been stated below:
  • Should have passed/appearing the 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics + first paper + second paper). There is percentage relaxation 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category; they only have to secure 40% in aggregate for admission in engineering college.

Merit Criterion:

  • Once you have achieved the above said percentage then you to face a Pre Admission Test (PAT) of JEE Main or Odisha JEE . All the admissions will be done on the basis of these JEE Mains ranks /Odisha JEE (OJEE ) and marks in 10+2 examination.

Eligibility for Admission in 3 Years Lateral B.Tech/Degree Programme

 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

  • Should have passed/appearing in , in three year diploma examination (two year in case of Lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute / from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
  • Should have passed B.Sc. from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks and passed the XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
  • In case of students belonging to B.Sc. stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering programme along with the second year subjects.

Merit Criterion:

    • Admission will be strictly done on the basis of the merit of OJEE (Odisha JEE ) online entrance test for lateral entry and marks scored in Diploma/B.Sc. Examination.

Eligibility for Admission in 2 Years M.Tech/Post Graduate Programme

 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

      • To take admission to Master Degree/M.Tech/Post Graduate programme, one should have passed or appearing in 2015, Bachelor’s Degree of examination in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
      • The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (for general category students) and 45% marks (for candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination.
