Electrical engineering is a domain of engineering that deals with the study and use of electromagnetism, electricity, and electronics. Electrical Engineering is divided in various sub domains which include electronics, digital computers, microelectronics, RF engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, signal processing and many more.

If you are pursuing electrical engineering you will hold Degree in either electrical engineering or electronics engineering. Once you become an electrical engineer, you would have a chance to work with a wide range of industries and so likewise skills required. These industries may range from a simple circuit theory to the managements of huge electrical and electronics projects. You need to keep you updated with latest tool techniques and the latest computer software in your domain.

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Adarsha College of Engineering, which has an excellent whisk of experienced as well as young and dynamic luminaries as faculty. Adarsha College of Engineering is involved in providing quality education at Diploma, Degree (Undergraduate) and M.Tech (Postgraduate) levels. The department has a very rich custom of teaching and research and is widely recognized to be one of the best engineering colleges to pursue electrical engineering in India. At present this department has 240 seat/ year for Diploma aspirants, 60 seats/ year for Degree aspirants and 24 seats for M. Tech aspirants.

Adarsha College of Engineering is located in a very rich and growing industrial belt of Angul. It is 50km away from one of the Asia’s largest iron ore mines Keonjhar. Some of the largest and reliable companies like NALCO, Jindal Steel, Bhusan Steel, Tata Steel and many ancillary companies are in the surrounding the area and this creates a huge opportunity for aspiring students to get on-site training.
