Adarsha College of Engineering is one of the top and the best Chemical Engineering College in Odisha, India that has been approved by the AICTE, affiliated to BPUT, and SCTE&VT Odisha which provides Diploma course.

Chemical engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with chemical production and the manufacture of products through chemical processes. This includes designing equipment, systems and processes for refining raw materials and for mixing, compounding and processing chemicals to make valuable products.

On increasing the demand of the Chemical Engineering field in the world of Technology, this department of ACE,ANGUL has been conceived for the creation of technically competent manpower at the levels of Diploma (Chemical Enngineering).

About Diploma in Chemical Engineering

Diploma in Chemical Engineering is a three-year diploma level engineering programme that equips the learners with the knowledge of creating something useful and new using chemicals or raw materials along with life sciences and physical sciences. Economics and Mathematics are also applied in the process of creating something new. The students who opt for this three-year diploma programme not only master the technique of creating new things but also understand the world of Chemical Science deeply by the time they complete their studies.

*What is Chemical Engineering* ?
Chemical engineering deals with the design and development of procedures to create products – products like food and fuel. It is essentially the application of chemistry, biology, physics, and math to solve problems.

What does a chemical engineer do?
Chemical engineers take raw materials and create every day, usable products. They do this by applying the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and math to solve the problems that occur during the production of chemicals, fuel, drugs, food, and a myriad of other products.

After having diploma in Chemical Enngineering you can work in jobs that increase crop yields to combat world hunger, create new materials, reduce pollution, and meet energy demands. Chemical engineers (and biological engineers) are instrumental in creating pharmaceuticals and lifesaving devices such as the artificial kidney. But they also produce such products as cosmetics, biofuels, and sandwich bags.

Some duties a chemical engineer might do include:

Conduct research
Manufacture pharmaceuticals
Create renewable fuels and energy sources
Establish safety procedures for those working with chemicals
Design and plan out equipment
Work in the production of energy, electronics, food, clothing, and paper.
Conduct research in the life sciences, biotechnology, and business services
